ABOUT THIS GAME

Dungeon Crawler Carl is a pinball machine based on the Dungeon Crawler Carl book series, written by Matt Dinniman. You play as Carl, accompanied by Princess Donut, navigating the various dungeon levels and all of the dangers and challenges it presents. Fighting mobs, battle bosses, cast spells, build your viewer count, collect friends, and figure out how to not just survive in the dungeon, but also how to get vengeance! Every aspect of the game combines to immerse you into the story. This includes a host of thematically integrated interactive mechanisms, an audio experience led by Jeff Hays voicing all of the characters, new artwork from Luciano Fleitas, Brad Albright, as well as other Dungeon Crawler Carl artwork shared by Renegade Game Studios, and game rules that connect you with all of the major events and plotlines and many of the minor plotlines as well.

Dungeon Crawler Carl is a 3-flipper game and therefore requires a Right Side-Target Flipper Assembly. New P3s come with this flipper assembly pre-installed. P3s built prior to 2022 did not.

Warning – Dungeon Crawler Carl is intended for mature audiences and contains adult language. There is an optional setting to “bleep out” most of the swearing.
Gameplay
Start in book 1 (dungeon levels 1 & 2), or optionally select a different starting point. Then work through the primary narrative elements of that book. Each one has a very different set of rules, ensuring gameplay variety that matches the variety in the level environments. Explore each level, killing mobs, collecting loot, and progressing through quests. Visit the safe room to rest, open loot boxes, and engage with viewers. Practice casting the right spell at the perfect time, and complete all of the level’s objectives to continue. Can you save humanity… or at least yourself?
